I’ve been working as a videographer since 2002 - so over 25 years.

I originally undertook a BBC training course for digibeta but most of my work and output has been on DVC, mainly in the music and entertainment sectors. However, I have done corporate videos as well and I am equally at home backstage or in a board room.

One of my biggest assignments was working with the singer Dido as her on-tour videographer during her “Life for Rent” World Tour 2003. This involved behind the scenes and on the road filming in Europe, the US, and Asia. I was never more than 5 steps away from Dido at any one time - filming her being filmed, attending radio promo in LA at 5.00 am, or filming an intimate acoustic set at MTV.

I also worked in a similar manner with Luciano Pavarotti to the extent that he kept me back to film some home videos for his wife when he purchased her a new boat as a present!

Other than being a professional with the equipment, my experience demonstrates my skill at working closely with artists and that they feel comfortable having me around. I held positions where the artist clearly trusted me and I was part of their inner circle, often travelling in the same vehicle or aeroplane as them. Artists were happy how I lit them and presented them, and I was also able to direct them, due to their confidence in me. I am not a clock-watcher and immerse myself in the world of the artist, understanding them, and presenting them in a manner that is commensurate with their status.

I understand modern social media deliverables and formats and work happily either in long-form or short form programming. I can act as a first camera, second camera, or DV Director and can film in different styles from formal corporate looks to MTV-stylee.

I have a full blown ENG Kit, and a full passport and am happy to travel.
